This book appeared at the beginning of 2007. It deals exclusively with mathematics, calculations and probabilities in Texas Hold'em Poker and what can be deducted from them. The author Guerrera (see also Killer Poker Shorthanded: Shorthanded Hold'em Means Long Green for You!) himself relies on the various tools which he introduces in the first chapter. In the second part he describes odds, pot odds, implied odds, reverse implied odds as well as the use of hand distribution models (HDM). Other important chapters give information on how, as a rule, pocket pairs should be played and how in draw hands the profit can be maximized. The mathematical tips for tournaments in the final chapter will open the eyes of even advanced players. Important: The mathematics in this book are exclusively intended for Texas Hold'em. The conclusions that Guerrera draws refer 99% to No Limit Texas Hold'em!
The book, as Phil Hellmuth confirms on the back cover, is the best one on the market that deals exclusively with the mathematics of Texas Hold'em. Unfortunately, this book is available only in English. The explanations are understandable only to a reader with a very good knowledge of English.
